Position Vacant: Early Childhood Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher – 3- to 4-year-old kindergarten, to join our team at Wantirna South Early Learning Centre. This is a gem of an opportunity for a passionate and skilled ECT.

About the role:

  • Oversee the daily operations of a childcare room – including programming, planning, and implementing engaging learning experiences
  • Lead, mentor and support a team of passionate early childhood educators to deliver exceptional care and education
  • Ensure all children’s developmental, physical, social, and emotional needs are met
  • Foster positive relationships with families and communicate regularly about children’s progress
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment that adheres to all relevant regulations and policies
  • Collaborate with the Centre Manager and other Room Leaders to contribute to the overall success of the centre
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to continuously improve your practice.

About You:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
  • Have a min. of 1 years’ experience implementing a 3YO Kinder program
  • Have a positive attitude and passionate approach
  • Have the ability to lead and mentor a team of educators
  • Have an understanding of delivering an inquiry based approach to children’s learning and development.
  • Have sound knowledge / Understanding of the EYLF & NQS
  • Have completed First Aid
  • Have a current provisional/conditional VIT accreditation.
